Working with Silvestro

Ask Silvestro for something in plain language, understand the lane it proposes, give it documents, and find past conversations.

For everyoneTalk · page 19 of 35

Silvestro is the orchestrator agent: the one you talk to when you want something done. You describe a goal in plain language. Silvestro coordinates the other agents, the work runs through to the end, and the result comes back to you. This page shows you how to ask, how Silvestro routes your request, and how to work with what comes back.

Before you start#

  • Open Talk › Silvestro in the sidebar.
  • Everyone can talk to Silvestro. Silvestro acts within your own permissions.

Understand the lane Silvestro proposes#

Silvestro listens to what you mean and proposes the lane that fits it, never a project by default:

  • An answer — a question gets an answer, now.
  • An Assignment — something someone must own and deliver: a real takeover, with a delivery that comes back to you.
  • A Playbooks Work — a way of working, such as "how we answer a tender". Silvestro opens a Work in Playbooks and builds it with you.
  • A specialist — when a part needs one, Silvestro proposes one by name. On your approval, the specialist joins the same conversation and answers there, visibly.
  • A project — only a coordinated effort with many tasks. Silvestro drafts it on the Project Blueprint, and the GO is yours.
Note

Your ask is the authorization: the work runs through to the end. The genuinely consequential actions, such as creating or reconfiguring an agent, writing to a connected repository or deleting a document, still go to Pending Actions for your explicit approval.

Start a conversation#

  1. 1

    Open Talk › Silvestro.

On a fresh chat, Silvestro says How can I help today?

  2. 2

Click a starter, or write your own request:

    Projects
the status of all active projects.
    Agents
which agents are online and what they are working on.
    Company Brain
    the company's latest learnings.
    Operations
any failed scheduled tasks or service alerts.
    Start work
    propose a new project.
01Start from a starter, or from your own words.
  1. 3

Type in the box Message Silvestro… and press Enter. Press Shift+Enter for a new line.

  2. 4

While Silvestro answers, click Stop to end the answer, or type a new message to interrupt.

To start a fresh conversation, click New chat at the top right.

Answer Silvestro's questions before it starts#

When a request is open to interpretation, a card Before I start appears with a few questions. Answer what helps; the rest becomes assumptions you can change.

  1. 1

Answer each question with one of the options, or with Something else… or Tell me in your own words.

  2. 2

Click Use this answer, or press ⌘+Enter (Ctrl+Enter on Windows).

  3. 3

To go ahead without answering everything, click Skip — use the assumptions.

02Answer what helps; the rest becomes stated assumptions.

The card then records On the record — how I read it, marking each point you told me or assumed. Only the person who asked can answer these questions.

Give Silvestro documents to read#

  1. 1

Click +, then Attach a document. Text, PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files work; Silvestro reads it in this turn.

  2. 2

Or type @ and a word in the chat box, then pick a Library document.

03Attach a file, or pick a Library document with @.

After the answer, a line says how much was read, for example 2 documents read completely, or read partially with the reason.

To use a ready-made request, open Quick prompts, or type /.

Work with a draft Silvestro prepares#

Something meant to travel onward, such as an email draft or a message to forward, arrives as a workable block: a titled card with an edit pencil.

  1. 1

Click the pencil and edit the text.

It becomes your version. The message itself stays as the agent wrote it.

  2. 2

Click Copy to copy your version.

  3. 3

To go back, click Restore what the agent wrote.

04Edit the draft; Copy takes your version.

Turn the conversation into a task#

  1. 1

Click +, then Create a task from this conversation.

  2. 2

In the drawer, fill in Task name, Details, Project, Assign to and Date. The date places the task on the Company Clock.

Conversation context attached shows that the chat goes with the task.

05The conversation travels with the task.
  1. 3

    Click Create task.

A task card appears in the chat. A task assigned to you shows up in My day on the Command Center.

Tell Silvestro what went wrong#

  1. 1

Under an answer, click the small face icon, Tell Silvestro what went wrong.

  2. 2

Write what should have been different.

  3. 3

    Choose who sees it:

    Just between you and Silvestro
it stays in Silvestro's memory of working with you.
Propose it to the Company Brain
your name travels with it, and the workspace owner reviews it before it becomes shared knowledge.
06Your words are remembered and weighed the next time.
  1. 4

    Click Send to Silvestro.

Find a past conversation#

  1. 1

Click History in the page header.

  3. 3

Click a conversation to review or resume it.

  4. 4

Hover a row for its three icons: Export as Markdown, Rename and Delete.

On a row, you can Rename conversation, Export conversation as Markdown or Delete conversation.

Write and talk by voice#

  • If you have sealed a voice of your own, the Voice chip in the chat box sets it for the conversation.
  • The voice button offers Dictate a message, Spoken replies, Hands-free conversation and Reading voice.

See Voice.

What you will see#

Language model is currently unavailable. Responses may be delayed or fail.
A failed send shows the error with a Request ID to give support. Retry sends it again; Edit changes one of your messages.
Silvestro is holding a handoff for your review — confirm or dismiss to unblock the work.
No conversation history yet and No conversation matches this search.
Couldn't attach …. or Couldn't read ….
That didn't go through — nothing was saved. Try again in a moment. — when telling Silvestro what went wrong fails.

Good to know#

  • Silvestro answers in the language you write in.
  • Attached files are kept in your Library, as Private documents.
  • Silvestro never founds a project: it drafts it on the Project Blueprint, and the GO is yours.
  • An Assignment's progress and delivery show up in Agora, where you can take it further into a project or a routine.
  • The Company context written by the owner and admins is in every agent's mind in every conversation.
  • Every answer can be read aloud with Listen when voice is on your plan.
  • History shows your own conversations only.
