Create your workspace
Create your company's workspace and your owner account, confirm your email, sign in, and start the guided tour.
A workspace is your company on Nexa Agora. The account that creates it becomes its founder, the owner. This page takes you from the empty form to your first minutes inside: you create the workspace, confirm your email, sign in, and meet your guide.
Before you start
- Have an email address you can open now. Nothing opens until you confirm it.
- The form is on the Create your workspace page, before sign-in. The workspace and your account are created together, in one form.
Create the workspace and your account
Open the Create your workspace page. Its subtitle reads Your company on Nexa Agora, and your seat as its founder.
Type your Company name, up to 80 characters. For example, Elena types Harbor & Pine.
Type a Username: 3 to 50 characters, with letters, numbers, dots, dashes and underscores.
Type your Email.
Type a Password of at least 8 characters, then repeat it in Confirm password. If the two differ, the form shows Passwords don't match.
Click Create the workspace. The button stays disabled until every field is valid.
The page changes to Check your inbox, with your address under the title and the message Your workspace is ready. Confirm your email to sign in.
If you see the waiting list
When Nexa Agora is not admitting new workspaces, the form puts you on a waiting list. You see You are on the waiting list and We will email you when your place is ready. That email brings you back to the form, where the subtitle reads Your invitation is in hand: your company on Nexa Agora, and your seat as its founder. You complete the form from there.
Use Google, GitHub or Apple
On the Create your workspace page, look under the form, below the or divider.
Click Continue with Google, Continue with GitHub or Continue with Apple.
Complete the step on the provider's page. You come back to a card titled Signing you in.
If the provider refuses or something is missing, a card titled Sign-in with … didn't finish explains why. The messages are listed under What you will see.
Confirm your email
Open the email and click its link. A card titled Verifying your email shows One moment….
When the card reads Email verified and Your email address is confirmed., click Back to sign in.
Get the confirmation link again
Check your spam folder first.
On the Check your inbox page, click Send the link again.
The page says If that address is still unverified, a new link is on its way.
Sign in for the first time
On the sign-in page, titled Nexa Agora with Your seat at the virtual company., type your Username or email and your Password.
Click Enter the workspace.
You can also sign in in two other ways:
- Sign in with a passkey, once you have added one in Settings › Security. A passkey lets you sign in with your device, such as Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a security key, without a password.
- Continue with Google, Continue with GitHub or Continue with Apple, when they are offered.
Sign in with two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication adds a second check after your password: a 6-digit code from an authenticator app.
After your password, the card reads Two-factor authentication required.
Type the code from your app in Authentication code.
Click Verify and sign in.
No access to your app? Click Use a recovery code and type one of your recovery codes. Each one works one time. Back to sign-in returns to the password.
Reset a forgotten password
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? next to the Password label.
On Reset your password, type your Email.
Click Send reset link.
Choose your language and your guide
At your first sign-in, a welcome window asks two questions.
Under In which language would you like the explanations?, pick English, Italiano, Español, Français or Deutsch.
To use another language, click Another language, type it, then click Continue.
Under Who should guide you?, choose one guide:
Change the language goes back one step. Not now closes the window and pauses the tour.
Follow the Settings tour
After the welcome window, the app opens Settings › Profile. A guide card in the lower right corner shows Settings · step 1 of ….
Follow the steps. Each one points at a part of the page with a soft ring: your name, your identity, Your models (owners and admins only), then the Company context.
Move with Next and Back. To ask about a step, click Ask Beatrice or Ask Virgilio; a chat with your guide opens.
The Company context is a short text, up to 600 characters, about who you are, what you do and for whom, and how you work. Every agent of the workspace keeps it in mind in every conversation. Owners and admins write it. Members read it and click I've read it.
At the end of the Settings steps, click Explore the platform. The map of the platform opens, with every area of the sidebar and a count such as 0 of 16 areas seen.
Click Start here, or Pick up here later on. Go there opens an area, Back to the map returns, and Finish the tour ends it.
Pause and resume the tour
Click the pause icon on the guide card, Pause the tour.
A note titled Tour paused confirms that your progress is saved.
To resume, click Continue the tour at the bottom of the sidebar, just above Ask …. If you never started, the button reads Start the tour.
Settings › Appearance has the same controls: Continue the tour, Open the map again, and Start the tour or Start again. A line under them tells you where you are, for example In progress, with Beatrice.
What you will see
Good to know
- The tour is recommended, never mandatory. Its progress is saved on your account, so it continues on any device.
- The language you pick in the welcome window is for the explanations and your guide's answers. Menus and buttons follow the interface language, which you change in Settings › Profile › Language.
- Two-factor authentication is required for the owner and the admins once their grace period ends: 14 days by default from becoming owner or admin.
- The sign-in page reminds you: By signing in you agree to act with intention. Every action is attributable — to a human or an agent.
- You can belong to more than one workspace. You switch between them in the account menu.
