Billing

See your workspace's credits for the period, how they are spent, the plan, who holds which seat, top-ups, storage and invoices.

For ownersRun your workspace · page 16 of 35

Billing shows what your workspace spends and who holds which seat. Credits are how Nexa Agora counts AI work on the platform's models: each model spends them at its own rate, so a cheaper model uses fewer credits. This page explains what you see on Billing and how the owner changes the plan, upgrades seats and buys top-ups.

Before you start#

  • Open Governance › Settings › Billing.
  • The owner sees everything and is the only one who buys top-ups, changes the plan and changes seats. Admins see the same and change nothing. Members see the credits for the period, the workspace's prepaid credit and storage.
  • Prices are shown excluding VAT.
01This period shows the credits used, the credits left and when they renew.

Read this period#

  1. 1

Open Governance › Settings › Billing.

  2. 2

Read This period: the credits used, the credits remaining, and when they reset, for example Resets on … · in N days.

A word says where usage stands: On track, Near the limit, Over the included credits, Limit reached, or No limit.

A Private Pro seat sits outside the shared fund: its holder reads their own seat's credits here, and everyone else reads the shared fund.

  3. 3

Read the tiles: Included, Used, Remaining and Prepaid credit, which belongs to the whole workspace and never expires. On a contract, Beyond shows what goes on the next invoice.

Note

Each workspace renews on its own cycle, counted from the day it started, not on the calendar month.

Understand how credits are spent#

How credits are spent shows the order, always the same:

  1. 1

Included — the plan's credits. Spent first.

  2. 2

Prepaid credit — your top-ups. Spent next. They never expire.

  3. 3

Overage — billed at list price on the invoice. Only on an Enterprise contract.

  4. 4

The wall — platform models pause until the reset. Your own models keep working.

02Credits are always spent in the same order.
Note

Your own models, through your own keys or Nexa Bridge, never spend credits. They share a daily token allowance instead.

See the plan#

Plan lists the plans:

PlanPeopleCreditsYour own models, per day
Freeup to 52,000 a month for the workspace1M tokens
BYOMup to 5 seats2,000 for the workspace20M tokens
Proup to 2010,000 a month per Pro seat50M tokens
Enterpriseno limitby contract; no credit wall, overage invoiced—

Pro also includes voice: dictation and read-aloud. Enterprise is agreed by contract, with Talk to us. Each plan's price per seat is shown on the page.

03The plan section shows the plans, your seats and the next charge.

Under the plans, a line shows what the workspace's seats cost a month and the next charge, and another shows today's use of your own models, with the reset at 00:00 UTC.

Change plan#

This is for the owner.

  1. 1

    Click Change plan.

The panel asks Where should the workspace go?

  2. 2

    Choose a plan.

  3. 3

Going up: under Who moves to …?, choose the people who move. You move first: nobody holds a higher seat than the owner.

For Pro, answer How should their credits work?: Private or Shared. There is no default.

The page shows today's prorated total. Click Upgrade.

  4. 4

Going down to BYOM or Free: choose who moves. Each chosen person moves at the renewal; paid seats end then. Click Apply.

The workspace's first paid seat goes through Stripe's secure checkout page. The others follow with a prorated charge.

Upgrade one person's seat#

Seats belong to persons. Everyone invited joins on a free seat and uses the workspace's credits. This is for the owner.

  1. 1

In Seats, find the person's row, for example Free seat · Uses the workspace's credits.

  2. 2

Click Upgrade, then choose Nexa's models, with monthly credits for Pro, or Their own model keys for BYOM. Or click Upgrade to Pro.

  3. 3

For Pro, choose how their credits work:

    Private
only their seat's credits. Nobody else draws on them.
    Shared
their seat's credits go into the shared fund; they draw from it with everyone.
04There is no default for how a Pro seat's credits work.
  1. 4

Read the price: today's prorated amount, then what is charged at each renewal. VAT is added on the invoice.

  2. 5

    Click Upgrade.

The page says the person now holds the new seat, or that the payment is waiting and the seat applies once it goes through. To send a waiting payment again, click Send a new payment link.

05Each person's row shows their seat.

Step someone down#

This is for the owner.

  1. 1

On the person's row, click Step down at the renewal, from Pro to BYOM, or Back to free at the renewal.

The row then reads, for example, Back to free on …. The person keeps everything they made, and the paid seat stays theirs until then.

  2. 2

To change your mind before that date, click Keep the … seat.

To change how a Pro seat's credits work later, click How credits work on its row.

Buy a top-up#

A top-up is a pack of prepaid credit for the whole workspace. This is for the owner.

  1. 1

In Top-ups, pick a pack and click Buy with its price.

  2. 2

Read the confirmation: you pay on Stripe's secure page, then come straight back. Click Continue to checkout, or Not now.

06A top-up belongs to the whole workspace.
  1. 3

Back on Billing, you see Payment received, with the credits added or on their way. If you cancelled: Checkout cancelled — Nothing was charged.

Read storage#

  1. 1

In Storage, read The workspace's space: used of total. Everyone in the workspace shares this space.

  2. 2

Read Your documents: the weight of your own documents.

  3. 3

Owners and admins also see Who holds the documents: people, agents, projects and the workspace's shared knowledge. Private documents are counted but never named.

Each edit of a document keeps the earlier version, and it takes storage until you remove it from the document's History tab in the Library.

Find an invoice#

This is for owners and admins.

  1. 1

    Scroll to Receipts and invoices.

The workspace's invoices are listed newest first, each with its number, date, status, total and any credit note. The status reads Paid, Waiting for payment, Voided, Not collectible or Draft.

  2. 2

Click Open on Stripe or Download the PDF. Load more shows older invoices.

07Every invoice can be opened on Stripe or downloaded as a PDF.
